So Maybe Art Isn't For Me, But Making the Storyboards Was Fun
Hello there!
I hope you are doing well. Finally, my group and I got together to outline all of the scenes and how they will be shot.
First Scene:
In the first scene, one actor will be leaning up against a wall, sitting with their legs in front of them. Whistling and tapping their leg to the beginning of the song, the character will be shown in a wide shot from eye level.
Second Scene:
Next, it will jump to the same actor's hand grabbing a skateboard. This will pan as they continue to walk as shot from the waist down from a high angle. They will be wearing a guitar on their back. It will end with them setting down the skateboard.
Third Scene:
The shot from the previous scene will be an action match to a person picking and strumming a guitar that will zoom out from a medium close-up to a wide shot of the actress on her skateboard.
Fourth Scene:
As the music switches to the chorus, we will switch to a new character. This will be an extreme close-up of her tying converse. It will be shot from a high angle.
Fifth Scene:
The fifth scene will comprise of a dancer in a sundress doing a pirouette. It will be shot from a low angle and be a medium-long shot. It will be done at sunset to add to the lighting of the scene.
Sixth Scene:
The fifth scene will follow the medium close-up of her falling into her shrugging. This will zoom out to a long shot of her doing a high kick.
Seventh Scene:
Once again, we will switch to a new character. This scene will show a jump rope doing a skip but not a person yet. This will be a low-angle long shot.
Eighth Scene:
This time we will see a new actor who is doing the jump rope from eye level as a medium-long shot. This will be a tilt to show their feet as they jump.
Ninth Scene:
As the previous scene tilts up, it will switch to a close-up of the jump roper winking. It will be shot from eye level.
Tenth Scene:
The tenth scene will introduce a new character using a painting canvas from a high angle. It will be a wide shot, showing the entire canvas.
Eleventh Scene:
The eleventh scene will be an over-the-shoulder of someone painting. This will be a medium shot from a high angle.
Twelfth Scene:
The final scene will show the completed painting with the same artist on a bicycle in the background. As the music fades out, it will pan to follow the bicycle move away.
