Groups Are Overrated, Partners Instead

 Hello again!

After working with a partner and a group, I decided to work with a partner once again but choose to work with a member from the commercial. Sara S and I have a lot in common, and from the group, I know I work well with her. She already has experience in media and is very dedicated. Her greatest talent is taking ideas and figuring out the best ones to bring them to life. We are both very versatile which will make a flexible project. We have a similar work ethic which means neither of us will take on a majority burden of the work.

Sara is someone I love to work with because we are friends. We can joke around while still finishing our work which is awesome. She has an interest in mystery, and we both read which gives us a wider range of media to pull ideas from as we develop our movie. Together, we manage a balance of practical and fantastical which I think will be much better in planning.

We decided to work together because we agreed it would a big burden to do it individually and we have similar interests which means we will have an easy time agreeing on what to do. Additionally, we can share connections and access to things to create a better video. For example, my father works at a school that has already agreed to let me film there which allows us to create a school-setting movie that is easier to execute. In Sara's case, her dad is an amateur filmmaker so he has some more advanced technology that we can use to create a higher-quality video.

I had considered working with Kaylie and Sarah R again as well but given the issues we had the first time, I decided against it. With us all living far and being in different classes, there is much-lost communication. Additionally, we all had different personalities which resulted in unequal work and differing ideas. As much as I loved the people in that group, our dynamics did not work well together.

My partner from the last project, Ja'neece, wished to do it on her own which I understand, but I would rather work in a group myself. Thank you so much and have a nice day!
